I am a proud son of Cave City, Arkansas, where my roots run deep.
After graduating from Cave City High School, I pursued both my passion for music—touring the country with close friends—and my academic goals, earning an A.A.S. in Computer Information Systems from the University of Arkansas Community College in Batesville, a B.A. in Liberal Arts from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, and an M.A. in American History from American Public University.
Since 2008, I've built a career in information technology, from K12 and higher education institutions to now serving as Chief Technology Officer at the Bank of Cave City. In 2010, I began serving my hometown through local elected office, first as a City Council member and now as Mayor. I’m committed to forward-looking governance rooted in integrity and relentless progress.
Beyond Cave City, I serve on state and national platforms, including as past president of the Arkansas Municipal League—the first officer from Sharp County in our history—and as a member of the National League of Cities’ Information Technology and Communications Committee, Artificial Intelligence Advisory Committee, and Small Cities Council. Above all, I am centered by my role as husband and dad, which continues to inspire and drive my work every day.
